I am Syed Musawir Abbas Rizvi, an environmentalist with a 15 month experience of working as Assistant Engineer (EHS & S) at Gulpur Hydropower Project, Azad Kashmir and formerly a graduate of Environmental Engineering from NUST, Islamabad. I am very passionate about resource conservation, waste management & recycling, renewable energy and Environmental Impact Assessment.

Assistant Engineer (EHS & S)
I worked as Assistant Engineer (EHS & S) for Owner's Engineer Joint Venture 2 at Gulpur Hydropower Project, Kotli, Azad Kashmir. The joint venture consisted of two Korean companies (KOEN and DOHWA) and served as consultant on Environment, Health, Safety and Social matters. My job description was to ensure the implementation and compliance of IFC, ADB and Government of Pakistan's Environmental and Social protocols and standards during the project.
Intern
I worked as an Intern on \'Maseeha Ambulance Service\' project. The project was about providing an Emergency Rescue Setup in Pind Begwal, a remote location near Bhara Kahu. The Emergency Rescue Setup included an Ambulance Service as well as a Basic Health Unit in the village.
Internee
I worked as an Internee in the Lab, EIA, GIS/MIS and Legal sections of Pak-EPA for nine weeks.
